I’m Joss, a German food photographer born in Germany, raised in Belgium, and now living in Thailand. Alongside being a photographer, I’m also a chef who loves taking my guests on a journey into the world of food.
From Berlin to Bangkok
A culinary journey
For almost 10 years, I worked as a chef, with experiences in Berlin, Cambodia, and Thailand, which gave me a deep understanding of various cuisines, dishes, and food characteristics. Combining my skills as a chef with my culinary knowledge has become my passion, allowing me to merge food with photography in a unique way.
After becoming an independent food photographer, I developed my own distinctive style, characterized by airy, light-filled photographs using natural lighting, seasonal ingredients, and a meticulous attention to detail. I prepare all the dishes I photograph myself, ensuring that both the food and its presentation are exceptional.
